(Gre-nay-da) Grenada, West Indies.

Grenada is an island nation in the Caribbean sea lying 12 degrees north of the equator. Grenada, part of the Grenadines (in the West Indies), is considered the spice of the Caribbean "Spice Isle" and is home to many Spices.

Tourism is one of Grenada's main sources of income and we encourage it. When planning your next vacation, you should seriously consider Grenada. Please visit our beautiful Grand Anse Beach lying south of the island. It is a must see.

Paradise, unspoiled, scenic, beautiful, friendly, spicy, are just a few words that best describe Grenada. It's citizens are called Grenadians.

Spice Industry being developed

Agricultural officials are confident that the establishment of the Spice Research Station and Farming Systems Project in St. David’s will help reposition agriculture, and to help modernize the industry. The project which is funded under the European Union Special Framework of Assistance (SFA) 2008 at a cost of five hundred thousand Euros was launched at the Grenada National Stadium in 2010.
